HME was founded in 1985 at Zollikon near Zürich with a capital of CHF 100.000 and the original Name of Hüpro Magnet + Elektronik AG. Her activities were mainly import and distribution of Permanent Magnets to the Swiss industry.
In 1997 the company certified to ISO 9001.
In 2000 the company moved to Küsnacht and changed the company name to HME Elektronik GmbH with the same capital.
Since February 2005 the company has her offices at Grafstal near Zürich.

Today, the sales program includes all kinds of permanent magnets for industrial use, produced to customer's design. HME is recognized by her customers for reliable supply of high performance magnets in small and big quantities.
Reed Switches and Reed-Relays come from four leading producers in Europe and overseas, for whom HME serves the Swiss market.
